SCS is seeking Carpenter Helpers. This is a great entry level career opportunity. Training will be provided! This position is full time with benefits.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean work areas, machines, and equipment to maintain a clean and safe jobsite
- Utilize a tablet or computer to access your work orders
- Perform basic carpentry skills such as measuring, drilling holes, hanging cabinet doors
- Cut lumber and/or paneling to specified dimensions
- Glue and clamp edges or joints
- Install custom millwork under supervision of site lead
- Reading and interpreting plans
- Maintain inventory of replacement parts and tools
- Install add-ons such as handles, hinges, and door knobs
- Deliver millwork to job sites
- Follow the instructions of the shop manager
